Description

This is a gorgeous and rare silk square scarf designed by Antonio Canovas del Castillo del Rey (aka Castillo) for the Parisian fashion house of Jeanne Lanvin. Castillo was hired as head designer for Lanvin in 1950 and remained so until 1962. The lower right is signed “Castillo Paris”. The edge is hand rolled and is 31 inches (79cm) square.
