Edwardian Walnut Vanity Box with Tunbridge Ware Inlay English, c.1900 Walnut case. Central Tunbridge ware motif to the top with similar vertical designs running from the top to front. Key hole to the front with inlaid escutcheon. Opens on brass hinges to reveal interior. Bag compartment to the underside of the lid with buttoned brass catch. Compartmentalised tray lifting out to reveal storage space beneath. Good structural condition. Substantial fading and marks to finish as pictured. Wear to inlay. Some small sections of inlay missing. Tray shelf to interior with a few small sections of compartments missing. Written to the inside base "A Present from Mamma and Papa on my 14th Birthday 1909". Measures 28 x 19 x 12 (h) cm
