Joel Kirk was born in 1948 in Dorking, Surrey, where his father was serving in the Coldstream Guards. Joel Kirk attended Southend College of Art and worked for the rest of his career as a freelance artist, using a wide variety of mediums and painting portraits, land and seascapes, although he was best known for his paintings and drawings of wildlife. He gave one-man exhibitions for wildlife parks and zoos and his work has been shown and acclaimed throughout the British Isles, in the USA, South Africa and Australia. Sadly Joel passed away in January 2020.. H: 70cm W: 97cm D: 1cm
