Carved wooden frame with painted cream finish. Thin parcel gilt pediment to the top with parcel gilding to the sides. Two decorative gilt frames to the mirror. The upper section with Romantic Italianate landscape painting with figures painted in oils on canvas. Below this the framed mirror plate. Removed from a Chateau in France, it is certain to make a charming addition as a stand alone wall mirror or above a commode or even narrow fireplace. Measures 100 x 195 cm.
