Rare c1900 ( probably older ) Persian, Kurdistan Tribal Kilim. 124x95cm. Wool. Hand knotted. Subtle old vegetable dyes in stunning colours and tribal design.

A supremely elegant piece for collectors. The carpet has hooks for hanging and should only be hung and not walked on. Three areas have loosened knots and wear due to age and original use.

It has hung in our family’s drawing room for 90 years. Collection Kensington SW7.
