Royal Worcester Exhibition Vase 1884 Beautiful quality. Dolphin form handle with mask heads to either side. Classically inspired oval cherub plaques to each side of the body with a gilded border. Handsome gilding to the whole Commissioned & retailed by A.B.Daniell & Son, Wigmore Street, London. A.B.Daniell were purveyors of the finest porcelain and their stamp on the piece is great provenance Measures 19 x 11 x 26.5 cm. Full factory back stamp to underside, along with shape number and retailer's mark. Good condition; no chips or cracks. Gilding good with some restoration to the gilding, little rubbing only to the gilded base. Removed from a private collection.
