Good condition commensurate with age. Some craquelure to surface, paint sound and colours good. Set in old gilt frame, a few marks to the gilt frame Willem Weissenbruch was the son and student of HJ Weissenbruch of the Hague School. He painted landscapes particularly with water, drawing inspiration from his hometown of The Hague. Later in his career he moved around the Holland, and is also know for his still life paintings
