Royal Worcester Painted Fruit Bowl by Rickets 1922 English, early 20th century Finely painted study to the inside of peaches, damsons, blackcurrants and lily of the valley. The painting by William Ricketts and signed by the artist. The whole of the outside with rich and original gilding. Full puce colour factory stamp to the underside. Date code for 1922 (small star plus 6 dots). Measures 12 x 12 x 6 (height) cm. 2 inch hairline crack running from rim down. Hairline running through the bottom and and inch or so up the side. Some little marks and slight pitting to paintwork. Gilding of good colour with some light scratches and marks.
