Meissen Four Seasons Figurines Fine 19th century works by Meissen, after the mid 18th c. models by Friedrich Elias Meyer All pieces with the blue crossed swords backstamp, figurine model numbers , painters number and gilders initial C 84 Figurine Spring, modelled as a maiden holding a garland of flowers Height 19 cm / 7 1/2 in Some restoration to flower garland and arm. C 88 Figurine Summer, modelled as a maiden with a wheatsheaf and sickle Height 19.5 cm / 7 3/4 in Restoration to left hand thumb. Small overpainting to right hand. Minor damage to wheatsheaf. Paintwork and gilding clean. Fully hallmarked to underside C82 Figurine Autumn, modelled as a Bacchanalian figure with grapes and wine goblet Height 20.5 cm / 8 in Small restoration to end of right foot. A few small chips to laurels in hair and around waist. C83 Winter Figurine, modelled as a man in a scarlet coat with a burning urn to his side Height 19.5 cm / 7 3/4 in Very good condition. Very small rub to paint on left hand middle finger.
