About The Art and the Artist

Six iconic stencil spray screenprints from the infamous street artist Bambi :
Including  Amy (Winehouse) Jade,  Hero to Zero,  Make Tea Not War,   Kiss,  Top Fashion Accessory,  A bit Like Marmite

Her stencil work focuses on contemporary female identity and its relationship to patriarchal culture. She also highlights political and social injustice.  Similarity with mediums, and injecting observation and humour as with her earlier graph associate BANKSY.

From 2013, and for any street graph collector. A finely  curated collection of 6 original stencil spray works from 2011 to 2013 in a handmade portfolio.

The frontice sheet is the certificate of authenticity, this is an Artist Proof limited edition. 1 of only 15 produced. Bambi first gained attention for her 2011 piece ‘Amy Jade’, which is included in this folio.

Bambi's stencilled work is described as gritty and masculine in appearance while exploring themes of feminism, and popular and street culture. Bambi is the pseudonym of a contemporary British street artist whos shares another similarity to BANKSY, they remain anonymous to the public and press.

In 2014 Artnet News named Bambi as one of their Top 20 Art World Women of 2014. She is the female equivalent to Banksy

"Bambi" is a popular artist within the show business world. Collectors of her work include Rihanna, Brad Pitt, and another famous Londoner, Adele.

Recognised for her stencilled graffiti she has created various works across London. Bambi first gained attention for her 2011 piece ‘Amy Jade’ a tribute to Amy Winehouse on a Camden street wall.

In February 2017 Bambi stencilled a mural called ‘Lie Lie Land’ on the wall of the Cross Street Gallery at the corner of 40 Cross Street and Shillingford Street, Islington. This featured former British Prime Minister Theresa May and American President Donald Trump in the dance pose from the poster of the movie La La Land. The work became a tourist attraction until it was painted over by new owners in January 2018.

Other infamous street graf includes Lady Diana, "Save Our Homo-sapiens", and "A Bit Like Marmite" also contained in this folio.
