Antique Mahogany Vanity Toilet Table Early 19th c. Very fine quality little mahogany vanity table. Inlaid tortoiseshell motif to the front. Split by lid. Painted stripes to the timber. Ivory stringing to the front and top. Further stringing and ivory handles to the drawer Lift up lids reveals compartmentalized innards with white metal pot (untested) Carried on square tapered legs with spade feet. Attractive shaped platform base Width: 37.5 cm. Depth: 37.5 cm. Height: 91 cm Offered in condition as pictured. Structure sound, though with some wear to finish. Handles good and innards very good. Lovely quality. Some old polish staining to ivory inlay Removed from a country house in Worcestershire.
