Large Painted Plaster Figural Sculpture by John Rogers

A Frolic at the Old Homestead by John Rogers Large Painted Plaster Figural Sculpture Stamped to the piece John Rogers New York 1887. We believe this to be early/mid 20th century in date. Measures 43 x 36 x 57 (height) cm. Good condition, some little wear to painted finish to the head of the tallest figure and to the blindfold of the other. Baize lining to the underside.
