Victorian Portrait Set in Heavy Gilt Frame. Portrait of lady with book. Oil on canvas. Appears to be unsigned. Set in heavy gilt wood & gesso frame. Frame measure 52 x 57 cm. Some craquelure to paint surface and flaking. Frame with some sections of moulding damage and little wear to finish. To the reverse from a restoration in 1967, a declared artist of W.W.Wilkes?
