Description

Fine 19th c. Figured Walnut Credenza c.1860 High Victorian, c.1860 Walnut top with moulded edge. Breakfront form. Figured walnut veneer to the whole with gilt metal applied mounts and boxwood foliate scrolling inlays. The central panelled cupboard door, surmounted by bowed glazed doors. The interior lined with original red velvet. Measures 148 x 36 x 103.5 (height) cm Very good condition commensurate with age. Attractive patina and colour. A lovely well-cared for piece of original High Victorian cabinetry of desirable proportions.
