Vintage Metamorphic Sideboard Table Vintage 1960's The table can be configured either with the undershelf beneath the top, or the undershelf can be brought level with the top, to create a top of twice the size (please see video). To set the table between the two configurations, the knob to the undershelf is pulled out, unlocking the mechanism, allowing it to rotate level with the top, then once in position, it is locked in place again by pushing the knob back into place. The mechanism is original, fully functional and runs smoothly. The table rests on the original castors.
