About The ART and the ARTIST

Unique, Set of 3 matching Pop Edition Prints with Official Aquarium Reject Stamps and all Numbered 2 (15 of each printed)

'Hanged', 'Drawn' and 'Quartered' (triptych) with Certificate of Authenticity.

These are very rare Cauty pieces...they were made as companion prints to the 5-11 Signed Editions.  Only 15 sets of the 5-11 prints were made and so there were only 15 of each of these made.  The 5-11 Signed Editions had to be bought as a set of 3 and were deleted quickly.

Cauty has jointly exhibited with Banksy at Dismaland and his Small World Re-enactments are phenomenal.  Research his immense back-catalogue, you will be stunned by his imaginative productions.

The new SKY ARTS Documentary WHO KILLED THE KLF featuring Cauty and Bill Drummond will only raise the profile of Cautys work value and collectability.

James Cauty has now been publishing works through the L-13 in it's three previous guises ('The Aquarium', 'The Aquarium L-13' and the 'L-13 Light Industrial Workshop') for 19 years since the first Blacksmoke Stamps of Mass Destruction 'Gas Mask Queen' pieces.

His output over that time has been prolific, classy, quirky, dark, humorous, controversial, thought-provoking and delightfully edgy and hard-hitting, making him really like-able and collectable.  The rarity of all of his work just amplifies this collectability.  There is always something for every budget with Jimmy's work too.

This piece was issued with provenance on purchase.

A great artist...an iconic gallery...amazing value-for-money rare British art at it's best.
