About the artist
David Shrigley is a British artist and illustrator, best known for his humorous and thought provoking illustrations which You Got Beaten By A Crab offer social comment on everyday interactions. He has exhibited across North America and Europe and is the author of numerous books on drawing. His sculpture Everything is Really Good was exhibited on the Fourth Plinth at Trafalgar Square in September 2016, and a number of his artworks form part of Tate’s collection.
