A fine quality Rudolf Kammer Volkstedt hand painted gilt porcelain bust of Joachim Murat in full military regalia. 
The bust stands approx 4 inches high and 2.50 inches wide.  
Vintage mid 20th century with makers underglaze blue marks on the base and labelled with the identity of the figure lower front.
Joachim Murat (1767-1815) was a French cavalry officer who became a marshal of the French Empire in 1804 and ruled as King of Naples from 1808 until 1815.
Through his marriage to Caroline Bonaparte, he was the brother-in-law of Napoleon I.
