Banksy Is Dismal TNT Monkey 7/10 on card freeart from Dismaland Bemusement Park 2015

Not far from Banksys home town of Bristol and billed as the ‘UKs Most Disappointing Visitor Attraction’. Running for five weeks between 21st August to September 17th 2015 was Banksy’s Dismaland at Western-Super-Mare.

Auctioning a Banksy collectors Dismaland merchandise and memorabilia collected from Banksy’s Bemusement Park. Purchased items and cardboard ‘Free art’ which was found spread around Dismaland

A ‘Dismalhand’ – A Disney ‘Mickey Mouse’ hand by DMS - purchased from the gift shop and unopened, some were scatter bombed around the park.

This was a limited Edition - Mickey Mouse hand,’ Titled Dead Dismal by dismal Hand, there where other things such as ‘fishfinger in a bag’ and ‘I’m an Imbercile’ balloon.

The ‘Banksy’ 29 x 23 cm cardboard art – To the front ’TNT Monkey’, spray art, signed ‘Banksy is Dismal’ to the reverse with the Dismaland Bemusement Park stamp. Inscribed with Enjoy your Free Art, dated 2015 and with number edition 7/10. Also the hand-drawn Head of Disney’s ‘Mickey Mouse’ character which crystalises Banksy’s street wise characterisation of Disneyland, Capitalist culture and a criticism of consumerism .

In good stored condition and a good example of Banksy card art.

The ‘Dismaland’ Entrance Ticket (A4) paper size– the QR code works and gives event details.

The ‘Dismaland’ Smiley Programme of Events with Glossy Cover 34 x 29 cm – 32 pages with an introduction by ‘Banksy’. The programme provides an epilogue of the event artists. The development of the Bemusement Park concept details and other equally interesting background info including other street artists such as LUSH, pop art, surrealist, abstract and conceptual artists, including Damien Hurst, with music from the infamous Russian Pussy Riot, Sleaford Mods, Massive Attack and comedy including the now famous Kathryn Ryan.

The ‘Dismaland’ Glossy (A4) Tour Guide – Lists the Galleries and other Art Installations, café and gift shop.

A ‘Dismaland’ Bemusement gig Park badge - also purchased from the gift shop. (A few spots of rust, but it is old).
