Victorian Hand Painted Gilded Moon Flask c.1890 We are pleased to offer a fine late nineteenth century footed moon flask vase believed to be Minton. Hand painted portrait of a lady wearing a large feathered hat , pearl necklace, gold locket chain and fur lined jacket. Signed by the artist, Boiston, to the lower right. The reverse with ornate decorative gilt foliage in relief. Gilt angular handles. The whole carried on four stile feet. Unstamped to the underside. The piece is offered in largely good condition with bright colours to the portrait and clean gilding. As pictured, there are some old stained cracks to the rim which go no further than the neck. Measures 19 x 7 x 23.5 (height) cm
