Description: The print is extremely well executed in depth and vision, crisp detail with shimmering bright colours, deep textured borders and crisp outlines and of quality.

Typically Bright with vivid and vibrant colour, ‘Life’ a fine art print of Gilbert and George's colourful 1984 piece depicts the artists as themselves amongst male figures and flames.

From the 1984, Death - Hope – Life – Fear Italian exhibition, this centre piece work and one of the four main exhibition pieces is sublimated to four cardinal points that the journey that the human condition endures ‘Beginning’ and ‘End’, ‘Pleasure’ and ‘Pain’.

At the top of the work, graphic wide eyes open to absorb "LIFE" and the beginnings of a journey. Underneath the artists' names and the year 1984. Part of a series entitled "Death, Hope, Life, Fear" Exhibition Tour.
