Antique Arts & Crafts Stained Glass Oil Lamp Hall Lantern – Victorian c.1890 A highly decorative and unusual late 19th-century Victorian oil lamp hall lantern, made in the Arts & Crafts style, with vibrant stained and textured glass panels housed within an ornate brass frame. Brass frame with rich foliate and floral pressed decoration to the upper and lower bands Each panel features stained, textured, and cut glass in a variety of colours and patterns including ruby red, amber, frosted, and starburst etched clear glass Fitted with its original 'Cosmos' burner, complete with chimney and a detachable brass font, which sits securely in its internal cradle Domed top with a decorative finial and suspension loop for hanging Glazed on all sides, allowing light to play through the colourful panels beautifully when lit Dimensions: Height: 56 cm Width: 20 cm Depth: 20 cm Condition: Overall in very good original condition. The glass panels are intact with no cracks or losses. The brass retains its period patina with some expected age-related tarnish and minor wear.
