Antique German Wurttemberg Mantel Clock, c.1900 A fine quality German mantel clock dating to around 1900, originating from Wurttemberg. Housed in a carved pine case of architectural form, this elegant timepiece features fluted columns, a shaped pediment with carved foliate panel, and a glazed door enclosing the dial and movement. The wood displays a warm, mellow tone with good patination. Dial: Gilded brass centre with a white enamel chapter ring, decorated with Roman numerals and ornate blued steel hands. Movement: 8-day mechanism striking the hour on a coiled gong. The pendulum and winding key are present. Dimensions: Height 38.5 cm x Width 24 cm x Depth 12 cm. Condition: Very good overall. The case remains in attractive order with only minor surface wear consistent with age. The movement is operational, although it is sold unguaranteed.
