Description
A finely modelled large Coalport sweet dish in the form of a stylised shell, dating to the late 19th century.
Moulded in white porcelain with crisply defined naturalistic detail throughout, the piece displays the quality and flair typical of Coalport’s decorative wares of the Victorian period.
Bearing the green printed factory mark to the underside: COALPORT ENGLAND A.D. 1750, used from circa 1881 onwards.
Dimensions: 23 cm long × 14 cm wide × 13 cm high
Condition: In good antique condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
Some light surface craquelure consistent with age.
A decorative and collectable piece from one of England’s most esteemed porcelain manufacturers.
