Description
A fine Victorian emerald green glass claret jug, hand-blown and decorated with delicate painted and gilt floral motifs.
The body is richly coloured in a vibrant emerald green, with a clear applied handle and a faceted stopper.
The gilded and enamelled flowers are gracefully arranged across the bulbous lower section, adding a decorative and painterly touch typical of late 19th-century glassware.
The base is finished with a polished pontil mark, further indicating its hand-crafted origin.
Date: Victorian period, c. late 19th century

Condition: Good antique condition.
No chips to the emerald green glass.
Minor nibble to the base of the stopper, as shown.
Light wear to the paintwork and gilding consistent with age.
