A fine late Victorian ring in the form of a traditional signet, crafted in solid 18ct yellow gold and fully hallmarked for Chester, 1896.
The ring features a single old-cut diamond flush-set in a star-engraved setting, a design commonly associated with gypsy rings of the period.

Hallmarks: Crown, 18, likely Chester town mark, date letter ‘N’ for 1896
