1912-13 London County Council (LCC) King’s Medal for Attendance, Conduct & Industry 
A rare and historic London County Council (LCC) King's Medal, awarded for attendance, conduct, and industry during the school year 1912-1913. 

Obverse: Features a left-facing portrait of King George V, with the inscription "THE KING'S MEDAL". Bronze construction with a detailed relief of the King in military dress. 

Reverse: Inscribed: AWARDED BY THE LONDON COUNTY COUNCIL FOR ATTENDANCE, CONDUCT AND INDUSTRY DURING THE YEAR Surrounded by a laurel wreath, with the LCC coat of arms at the base. 

Suspension & Bars: Top bar: Engraved “L.C.C.” (London County Council), decorated with an oak leaf and acorn motif. 

Middle bar: Engraved with the school year “1912-13”, indicating when it was awarded. Lower bar: Plain decorative element, possibly for additional awards. 
Original ribbon in red, white, and blue, now showing age-related wear and fraying. Pin-back fastening, with signs of use. 

Historical Significance: This medal was awarded by London County Council to schoolchildren who demonstrated exemplary attendance, good conduct, and diligence throughout the academic year. 
It reflects the Edwardian and early Georgian era focus on discipline and education, rewarding students who met strict standards.
