Fine Solid Silver Porringer – Charles Edwards, London 1896 An elegant late Victorian solid silver porringer, crafted by esteemed silversmith Charles Edwards. Fully hallmarked for London, 1896, during the reign of Queen Victoria. Maker: Charles Edwards Assay Office: London Date Letter: a (1896) Dimensions: 18 cm (handle to handle) x 11 cm (bowl diameter) x 5.5 cm (height) Weight: 170.9 grams Condition: In good antique condition. Displays light surface scratches and natural patina consistent with age. Full and clear set of hallmarks. This piece features traditional twin-scroll handles and a beautifully proportioned body. A fine example of late 19th-century English silver, perfect for collectors or as a charming display piece.
