Antique Swiss "TELL" Centre Seconds Chronograph Pocket Watch – c.1900 A late 19th to early 20th century open-face pocket watch chronograph by TELL, Swiss made. The white enamel dial is marked "BEST CENTRE SECONDS CHRONOGRAPH – TELL – SWISS MADE", with Roman numerals, outer scale to 300, and central chronograph sweep seconds. Push-button chronograph activation to the side of the case. Gilt metal case, engine-turned back marked "TRADE MARK REGISTERED" with the Tell logo and Swiss cross. Inner cuvette stamped with Swiss registration and patent marks. The watch measures 5.5 cm wide, and 8.5 cm tall including the ring. Condition: Some wear and surface marks consistent with age. Dial shows light spotting. The movement is incomplete or unchecked and produces a slight internal rattle. Offered as seen, for spares, repair or display.
