French Porcelain Mantel Clock Mid-19th Century A porcelain cased mantel clock, French, mid-19th century. The arched case is decorated with hand-painted floral reserves on a cobalt blue and white ground, with gilt embellishment. Mounted on an integral shaped base with moulded detail. Silvered dial with two winding holes. Fitted with a silk suspension movement, striking on a bell. The movement appears complete and ticks when handled, though it has not been serviced.
