Vintage Upholstered Wingback Armchair with Carved Mahogany Legs – For Reupholstery A generously proportioned vintage wingback armchair, raised on finely carved mahogany cabriole legs in the Chippendale style. The frame is well constructed and remains solid, with attractive foliate carving to the front legs. One foot shows a small area of loss, and there are minor knocks as shown. The chair retains its original upholstery, which was clearly of high quality but is now worn, with fraying to the trim and some staining to the fabric.
