Large Mid 20th Century Middle Eastern Brass Tray Table Likely Moroccan, c.1950s A good quality decorative brass tray table, Middle Eastern in origin, likely Moroccan, dating from the mid 20th century. The large circular brass tray is finely engraved with a central floral medallion and foliate border, and finished with a scalloped rim. It rests on a traditional folding ebonised hardwood base, carved and pierced throughout in geometric and foliate motifs. The stand folds flat for ease of storage. Dimensions: 92 cm diameter x 49 cm height Condition: Good overall condition. Light surface wear, tarnish and small pitted areas to the tray consistent with age. Minor scuffing to the base. Some slight movement when the tray is placed on the stand, but secure when positioned evenly. A striking and practical piece, ideal for use as a low table or decorative accent in eclectic interiors.
