Fine William IV Sabina Wood Centre Table (c.1830) English, Circa 1830 A rare and striking William IV Sabina wood centre table, dating from c.1830. This fine example of early 19th-century English furniture is crafted from Sabina wood, known for its dramatic grain and rich, dark hues, and highly prized by collectors for its rarity and unique aesthetic. Sabina wood resembles rosewood but is far less common and highly desirable in the antique market. Key Features: Wood: Crafted from Sabina wood, offering a dramatic grain and warm tones. Design: Features a tilt-top mechanism, a practical and elegant design, with a brass top catch for security. This table retains its original patina and is in good condition. It was removed from a country house in Worcestershire, adding historical provenance.
