Description

Antique Belgian Percussion Pocket Pistol, c.1850 A mid-19th-century percussion cap pocket pistol, likely manufactured in Liège, Belgium, circa 1840–1860. This single-shot pistol features a rounded barrel, engraved lock plate with simple foliate decoration, and a smooth walnut grip with inset escutcheon. The hammer shows an old break near its pivot, meaning it does not cock properly; otherwise the pistol presents well, with attractive patination and wear appropriate to its age. A genuine example of a Victorian period personal defence pistol, sold purely as a collectable. Dimensions: Length: 18 cm Width: 2 cm Height: 10 cm Legal Notice: Sold as an antique under Section 58(2) of the Firearms Act 1968. For collection and display purposes only. Not intended for use. Not for sale to under-18s.
