Set of 3 Franklin Porcelain 'Songbirds of the World' Plates – 1977 – Audubon Society – Arthur Singer A fine set of three large collector’s plates from the Songbirds of the World series, designed by Arthur Singer and issued by Franklin Porcelain in collaboration with The National Audubon Society. Crafted in England by Wedgwood in 1977, each plate is made of fine bone china and decorated with detailed illustrations of birds in naturalistic settings. Designs included: Baltimore Oriole (Icterus galbula) Magnolia Warbler (Dendroica magnolia) Wood Thrush (Hylocichla mustelina) Each plate bears a gold Franklin Porcelain backstamp and species information, with a diameter of approx. 27 cm (10.6 in). Condition: All in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Clean examples with vivid imagery.
