Vintage Balinese Hardwood Sculpture – Seated Woman with Mirror – Signed PARTA – 28cm Description: Vintage hand-carved hardwood sculpture depicting a seated young woman adjusting her hair and looking into a mirror. Finely stylised and carved from a richly figured tropical hardwood, likely ebony or similar. The piece bears the signature PARTA to the base, associated with mid-20th century Balinese carving workshops. Elegant, smooth form with good detail to the face and hair. The sculpture has a polished finish and deep grain. A visible horizontal join runs through the torso and hips—possibly a feature of the original carving process or an old repair.
