Pair of Mid-20th Century Chinese Carved Rosewood Vase Stands

A well-matched pair of Chinese circular vase stands, finely carved in dense tropical hardwood, likely Hongmu (Chinese rosewood). Dating from the mid-20th century, circa 1930–1950. Each stand features a recessed display ring and pierced foliate apron, raised on low bracket feet. Good weight and attractive colour with signs of age and use. A minor opening to one of the top rings as pictured; structurally sound throughout.
