Fine Antique Silver and Cut Glass Inkwell — London 1916 A large and well-proportioned antique inkwell of good weight, featuring a finely cut glass body and a silver-mounted collar with hinged lid. The lid is inset with tortoiseshell and bordered with a delicate silver band, offering a touch of understated refinement. Hallmarked for London, 1916. The maker’s mark is partially worn but present. The glass is deeply cut with a diamond lattice to the base and elegantly chamfered panels to the sides. The silver lid closes firmly and remains well-hinged.
