The solid frames are well constructed, with decorative foliate carving to the front legs. One foot on the wingback chair shows a small area of loss, and there are minor knocks and marks to the wood across the suite, consistent with age and use. All three pieces retain their original upholstery, which was of high quality but is now worn. The fabric is faded and torn in places, with fraying to the trim and some visible staining. While the suite remains suitable for occasional use in a relaxed setting, it is best considered a candidate for reupholstery.
