Vintage Mid 20th c. Amber Bead Necklace A good vintage necklace composed of well-matched polished amber beads of pleasing warm tone, individually hand-knotted on cord and fitted with a metal lobster clasp. The amber displays natural variation and characteristic inclusions, with a gently graduated arrangement giving it a balanced and elegant appearance. In total, the necklace comprises 89 beads and measures approximately 53cm in length. It weighs 12.2 grams. The piece likely dates to the mid-20th century, c.1950s–1970s, and is a wearable and attractive example of traditional amber jewellery.
