Set of Five Victorian Flow Blue Chinoiserie Plates, George Jones & Sons, c.1865 A set of five Victorian flow blue plates by George Jones & Sons, Stoke-on-Trent, dating to circa 1865. Decorated with a Chinoiserie pavilion scene in cobalt blue with hand-painted enamel and gilt highlights, scalloped rims. Each backstamped to reverse. Diameter: 22 cm (8 ¾ inches). Condition: General surface wear and rubbing to enamels and gilding; a few plates with old hairlines as shown, otherwise sound.
