Pair of Victorian Mahogany Cylindrical Pot Cupboards with Marble Tops England, circa 1860 A fine pair of Victorian cylindrical pot cupboards in figured mahogany, each topped with an inset white marble disc within a moulded surround. Of elegant barrel form, each cupboard features a single door opening to an interior with fixed shelf. One with original turned wooden knob, the other with an early white porcelain replacement. This practical and decorative pair exhibits the restrained classical styling typical of mid-19th century English bedroom furniture, and their versatile scale makes them ideal as bedside tables, lamp stands, or occasional cabinets.
