Royal Doulton Floral Decorated Bowl – c.1920

Royal Doulton Bowl, c.1920 An attractive early 20th-century porcelain bowl by Royal Doulton. The interior is finely decorated with a border of hand-painted purple flowers and trailing green foliage, encircling a central floral motif. The rim features a band of stylised shell and leaf ornament in black and green, framed with lilac bands and enriched with gilding. The exterior is finished in a deep gloss black. Marked to the underside with the full Royal Doulton factory stamp used in the early 20th century. Dimensions: 22 cm diameter, 8 cm high Condition: Good. No chips, cracks or repairs. Light surface scratches and minor wear to the gilding commensurate with age.
