Vintage Ruby Overlay Cut-to-Clear Crystal Centrepiece Vase, c.1970s A decorative ruby overlay cut-to-clear crystal footed centrepiece vase, dating to around the 1970s. The richly coloured ruby glass is overlaid on clear crystal and hand-cut to reveal stylised fan and leaf motifs, with additional faceting around the body. The broad flared rim is finished with a scalloped edge, and the piece is raised on a clear circular foot. Likely of Bohemian or Czechoslovak origin, this is a striking example of mid-20th-century glassmaking, blending vibrant colour with precise hand cutting.
