Cased Sterling Silver Vanity Set – Birmingham 1947, Charles S. Green & Co Ltd A fine quality mid-20th century sterling silver dressing table set, fully cased and hallmarked. Comprising eight pieces: a hand mirror, hairbrush, clothes brush, comb, pin tray, nail scissors, file, and cuticle tool. Each piece is finely engraved with scrolling decoration and fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1947 by Charles S. Green & Co Ltd. The set is presented in its original fitted case with silk and velvet interior and tooled leather exterior. The mirror remains clear; bristles are in good order. Some light surface wear and tarnish consistent with age. Two teeth are missing from the comb. A well-preserved and complete post-war silver vanity set. Hallmarked: Birmingham, 1947 Maker: Charles S.
