Pair of Fine Victorian Watercolours – English Landscape Views A finely painted pair of English watercolours, dating to the Victorian period, both removed from a manor house in Worcestershire. Each painting captures a picturesque rural scene in delicate and detailed brushwork, typical of the 19th-century English landscape tradition. One depicts a formal garden terrace with large ornamental urns, overlooking a landscaped vista with trees in full autumn colour. The other features a charming country lane leading past a cottage with a picket fence and a figure walking with a dog. Each painting is presented under glass in a period gilt frame with classical floral ornamentation. Some minor wear and small losses to the moulding corners, consistent with age. The watercolours themselves appear in good condition with some light age toning to the mounts.
