Mid-20th Century French Style 5-Arm Cut Glass and Crystal Chandelier A finely made vintage chandelier of graceful form, likely French in style and manufacture, dating to the mid-20th century. The five scrolling arms are formed in clear moulded glass and support scalloped drip pans with white candle sleeves. The central baluster stem is constructed from cut and faceted glass knops, surmounted by a glass corona and finished with a polished brass collar at the base. The chandelier is fully dressed with fine quality cut glass throughout: faceted rosettes, button chains, pear-shaped pendants and rule-cut icicle prisms. The arrangement is symmetrical and well-composed, creating a refined sparkle when lit. Fully wired and ready for installation. Fitted for SBC (small bayonet cap) bulbs and shown with LED candles (not included). Dimensions: Width: 40 cm (15.75 in.) Drop (excluding chain): 47 cm (18.5 in.) Condition: Very good overall condition. The chandelier is fully dressed, and all components appear present and secure. There are a few very minor nibbles to some crystal pieces in line with age, but no significant losses. Brass with a warm patina; wiring in working order at the time of cataloguing.
