Fine English Satinwood Étagère – Sheraton Revival c.1890 Two-tier satinwood étagère, English, dating to around 1890 and in the Sheraton revival style. Of oval form with fine marquetry and stringing throughout. The lower tier features a central inlaid panel with scrolling foliate motifs and stylised mythical figures. Raised on fluted tapering legs joined by a shaped X-form stretcher centred with an oval inlaid roundel. Lovely colour and good patina throughout. Dimensions: Height: 79 cm Width: 88.5 cm Depth: 55.5 cm Very good condition with a lovely colour. Structurally sound. Some minor old repairs to the frame, in keeping with age and use.
