Pair of Royal Worcester “Days of the Week” Bone China Nursery Tankards Tuesday’s Child & Wednesday’s Child – c. 1950s–1960s A matching pair of mid-20th century Royal Worcester bone china nursery tankards, hand-decorated with verses from the traditional Monday’s Child nursery rhyme. Comprising: Tuesday’s Child is full of grace Wednesday’s Child knows no woe Each tankard is of cylindrical form with gilt-lined rim and handle, decorated with floral garlands and a charming child illustration to the reverse. Both bear the printed Royal Worcester Bone China – Made in England factory stamp to the underside, along with the script “Hand Painted”, consistent with production in the 1950s–1960s. Dimensions (each): 11 × 8.5 × 8 cm (height) Condition: Very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. Light surface wear and minimal rubbing to the gilt consistent with age.
