Description
A fine pair of hand-cut lead crystal decanters with sterling silver collars, made in England and hallmarked for London, 1971 and 1973, by Preece & Willicombe.
Each decanter is of substantial weight and elegant form, with deeply cut crosshatch and diamond patterns to the body and a stepped, knopped neck.
The wide, flat-top stoppers are of a mushroom form with star-cut tops.
The necks are finished with flared sterling silver collars, each bearing full English hallmarks.
Dimensions: Height: 11.42 in (29 cm) Diameter: 4.72 in (12 cm)
Materials: Cut lead crystal, sterling silver (hallmarked)
Condition: Good vintage condition.
Minor nicks and light wear to the stoppers and cut surfaces as expected.
Silver collars in good order with clearly legible hallmarks.
A handsome and functional pair, ideal for a drinks cabinet or refined barware collection.
